Junior Financial Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Financial Advisor to join a thriving independent financial advice firm in Manchester. You will be the first friendly face for clients as they begin planning their financial future, helping them understand pensions, investments and other money matters.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the welcoming first point of contact for new and prospective clients.
• Hold open, client‑focused conversations to uncover financial goals.
• Translate complex financial concepts into clear, plain‑English explanations.
• Collaborate with Senior Advisors to develop tailored advice.
• Maintain accurate client notes, reports and paperwork.
• Provide ongoing client support and keep them informed.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations.
• Respond to client queries and assist whenever needed.
• Uphold honesty, respect and confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience in business development or sales.
• Strong communication skills with confidence in client engagement (no cold‑calling).
• Ambitious and eager to progress within the financial advice market toward a senior advisory role.
