Junior Financial Planner – Desk-Based (Hybrid)

About the role

We are a well‑established independent financial planning firm seeking a Junior Financial Planner to join our growing team in Newcastle. The role is desk‑based with a hybrid working model, allowing you to deliver high‑quality, client‑focused advice while developing your expertise across a broad range of financial planning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial planning and regulated advice across pensions, investments, tax and protection.
• Conduct detailed fact‑finding, cash‑flow modelling and suitability assessments.
• Create and deliver tailored financial plans aligned to client objectives and risk profiles.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships through regular reviews and proactive communication.
• Collaborate with paraplanners to produce accurate research and suitability reports.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Previous experience within an IFA or financial planning firm.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Client‑first mindset and collaborative, ethical approach.

Required skills
