Junior Financial Planner (Trainee) – Bridgwater

About the role

An award‑winning independent financial adviser (IFA) firm in Bridgwater is seeking a Junior or Trainee Financial Planner. The position is ideal for a newly qualified Financial Planner, a DipFA‑qualified Paraplanner, or a Mortgage Adviser ready to progress their career within a supportive, growing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial planning advice to an existing client base under the supervision of senior advisers.
• Prepare and maintain client recommendations, reports and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with the in‑house paraplanning and administration team to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Participate in client meetings and follow‑up actions as required.

Required profile

• Diploma‑qualified (DipFA) or equivalent financial planning qualification.
• Motivation to develop a career in financial advice within a supportive environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
