Junior Full Stack Developer (AI-Assisted Engineering)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join MyPocketSkill’s engineering team and help build our AI‑powered fintech/edtech platform for young people. This hands‑on role is ideal for an early‑career developer who wants to learn quickly, ship fast and work with modern AI coding tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend, frontend and internal product features using Python/Django and JavaScript frameworks.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Augment, GitHub Copilot) to write, test, debug and refactor code.
• Support AI‑driven matching, recommendation and learning tools.
• Review AI‑generated code before it is released.
• Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate unit and integration tests.
• Document work clearly and collaborate with founders and product team.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in software development and high learning velocity.
• Commercial, internship, freelance or strong project experience.
• Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with web development and relational databases.
• Experience using or strong interest in AI coding tools.
• Good problem‑solving skills, clear communication and attention to detail.
• Interest in fintech, edtech, marketplaces or AI products.
