Junior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Join Bionic’s “In Life” squad and help build the digital services that make running a small business easier. As a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer you will work on both back‑end and front‑end systems, learn from senior engineers and contribute to real‑world customer journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back‑end services using Node.js/TypeScript and Ruby on Rails.
• Contribute to customer‑facing front‑end applications built with Nuxt.
• Create infrastructure as code with AWS CDK and support a serverless, event‑driven architecture.
• Write and improve batch jobs and quoting tools on the Salesforce platform.
• Follow engineering standards, write tests, and ensure software security and robustness.
• Leverage AI tools in the development lifecycle where appropriate.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability and clear communication of technical approaches.
• Comfortable working in a ticket‑driven delivery environment with set priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset, open to pairing, coaching and feedback.
• Ability to handle ambiguous requirements and ask clarifying questions.

Required skills

• JavaScript and Node.js (preferably TypeScript).
• Ruby on Rails.
• Nuxt (Vue.js framework).
• AWS CDK and general AWS cloud services.
• Serverless, event‑driven architecture concepts.
• Salesforce platform development.
• Git version control and basic CI/CD pipelines.
• Testing best practices.
