Junior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading company in the luxury sector, based in Battersea, South West London. The role offers full on‑the‑job training and a clear pathway for long‑term career progression within a close‑knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Service and maintain a range of bespoke mechanical equipment for high‑end clients.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics and repairs during standard office hours (09:00‑17:00, Monday‑Friday).
• Document maintenance activities and report any issues to senior engineering staff.
• Support the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with mechanical engineering experience.
• Willingness to undertake comprehensive on‑the‑job training.
• Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team.
• Commute to Battersea (accessible from Chelsea, Putney, Clapham, Kensington, Westminster).

Required skills

• Mechanical equipment servicing and maintenance.
