Junior Mechanical Fitter (Plant Equipment Training)

About the role
We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Fitter to join our Bedford workshop, where you will receive manufacturer‑led training on a range of plant equipment and telehandlers. The role offers a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with optional, higher‑paid weekend work.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake full training and obtain qualifications on plant equipment and telehandlers.
- Perform regular maintenance, fitting, and pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on machinery.
- Work within a static workshop environment in Bedford.
- Support optional weekend shifts at an enhanced rate.
Required profile
- Mechanical fitter or engineer with diesel or mechanical experience.
- Based in Bedfordshire and seeking career progression through training.
