About the Role

We are looking for a motivated team player to join our Neurology medical secretarial team. This role is designed for someone eager to learn, providing essential administrative support to clinicians and ensuring the efficient delivery of medical services within a high-standard healthcare environment.

Main Missions

  • Typing and dispatching clinical correspondence for NHS patients, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
  • Liaising effectively with hospital services, patients, and healthcare providers associated with the consultant.
  • Maintaining departmental administrative information and general filing of correspondence.
  • Managing waiting lists in accordance with national guidelines and participating in RTT (18-week) process training.
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings and providing general administrative support to the unit.
  • Handling telephone inquiries, taking messages, and processing requests professionally.
  • Ensuring accurate patient record maintenance and precise filing.

Candidate Profile

  • A collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work flexibly alongside medical secretaries, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Willingness to undergo training on Trust policies and national healthcare standards.
