Junior Project Engineer – Electrical Utilities (Yorkshire)

About the role

This position is aimed at recent graduates or engineers with up to two years of experience who want to develop a career in project engineering within the electrical utilities sector. You will receive structured training, mentorship from senior engineers and the chance to work on major UK electrical infrastructure projects across Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities

• Support electrical distribution projects from initial design through to completion.
• Assist with site surveys, technical documentation and cost estimating.
• Coordinate project planning and liaise with customers, contractors and internal teams.
• Balance office‑based project work with on‑site exposure across the region.

Required profile

• Graduate or junior electrical engineer (maximum 2 years’ experience).
• Practical electrical engineering experience gained through work, placements or internships.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Motivation to build a long‑term career in project engineering.
