Junior Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. The role offers genuine variety, allowing you to be involved from initial technical discussions through to practical solutions across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support planned engineering projects and respond to reactive technical issues.
• Produce reports, work instructions and project documentation.
• Assist with engineering fixes, product changes and practical solutions.
• Attend customer sites and European manufacturing facilities as required.
• Help create clearer internal engineering processes.

Required profile

• HNC, HND, engineering degree, NVQ or relevant practical experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic or mechanical equipment.
• Experience in automotive, HGV, machinery, field service or a related environment.
• Organised approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Full UK driving licence.
