Junior Project Manager

About the role

The Junior Project Manager supports the successful implementation of business change projects across the Clearing business. The role coordinates project implementation from start to finish, acting as the single point of coordination for smaller projects and defined workstreams, and partners with the business to ensure a sustainable hand‑over to business‑as‑usual at project close.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identify scope, schedule deliverables and drive progress against time, cost and quality targets.
• Run status reviews, steering groups and working sessions; manage changes, dependencies, risks, costs and resources.
• Act as the central communication hub for stakeholders, ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
• Define the project’s end‑state, identify required business changes, and manage delivery of new processes, technology or training to embed those changes.
• Support the Business Manager with reporting, capacity estimates and portfolio data across multiple change projects.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent experience with a genuine interest in project and change management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams.
• Proactive problem‑solver who follows actions through to resolution.
• 1–2 years of experience in a project, PMO, operations or clearing environment, preferably within financial services.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
