Junior Python Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Python Engineer to join a global tech brand on a 12‑month contract. You will work within the QA automation team to expand the existing automation framework and increase test coverage across multiple devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python‑based automation scripts.
• Extend the automation framework to support new devices and scenarios.
• Write clear, maintainable test cases and ensure they run reliably.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to identify gaps and improve test coverage.
• Work on‑site in London three days a week and remotely the remaining days.

Required profile

• Recent hands‑on experience with Python scripting.
• Ability to work under tight schedules and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
• Interest in tech, gaming, music or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to hybrid working patterns.

What we offer

• Up to £150 per day, paid weekly.
• Hybrid work model – Tuesdays to Thursdays in the London office.
• Full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm.
• One‑year fixed‑term contract with training provided.
