Junior Quant – Portfolio Analytics

About the role
Man Group is seeking a Junior Quant to join its Systematic Portfolio Analytics team. The role will support the analysis and reporting of performance, risk and attribution across the firm’s systematic investment strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Produce quantitative insights and analytics for the systematic portfolio suite.
- Assist in performance attribution, risk measurement and reporting for a range of hedge‑fund, long‑only and bespoke strategies.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, data scientists and engineers to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Help maintain and enhance analytical tools and dashboards used by the investment teams.
- Contribute to research projects that improve the transparency and efficiency of the systematic estate.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or 0‑2 years of experience in quantitative finance, mathematics, statistics or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in systematic investing and data‑driven decision making.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑moving, research‑oriented environment.
