Junior Recruitment Consultant – Reading

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in central Reading. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with 6‑12 months of sales experience who are eager to launch a career in recruitment and develop their client‑facing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Advise client organisations on suitable candidates for open vacancies.
• Interview, assess and shortlist applicants, matching them to client requirements.
• Coordinate interview schedules and selection events.
• Prepare and place vacancy advertisements.
• Support candidates in interview preparation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the CRM system.
• Identify and acquire new business opportunities through LinkedIn outreach.

Required profile

• 6‑12 months of experience in a sales role.
• Confident and polite telephone communication.
• Organised, motivated and reliable with a practical work approach.
• Ability to handle rejection and maintain momentum.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Reading five days a week.
