Junior Relationship Manager – Financial Institutions Group

About the role

The Junior Relationship Manager will join the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in London, supporting the Sponsors team that works with European private equity firms and financial sponsors. The role focuses on fund finance, helping clients across Europe and Asia to execute transactions, access new markets and grow their businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare credit memos and conduct detailed financial analysis for fund finance transactions.
• Support ongoing portfolio management and service existing client relationships.
• Assist Relationship Managers in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Review legal documentation such as loan and security agreements to ensure compliance.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and initiatives that support the team’s objectives.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience at a major financial institution in a similar corporate or investment banking role, preferably in fund finance or transaction structuring.
• Basic knowledge of financial‑market products, structured solutions and hedging.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a solid understanding of credit risk principles.
• Broad understanding of Global Transaction Services product suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines and excellent communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
