Junior ROV Technician – Graduate Engineer (Aberdeen)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join our client in Aberdeen as a Junior ROV Technician. The role involves supporting the preparation, maintenance and testing of subsea mechanical tooling and related equipment, with occasional regional travel and offshore assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Produce service reports, inspection records and equipment documentation.
• Commission new ROV tooling and prepare ROV equipment returning from hire.
• Repair and test ROVs, performing fault finding and servicing.
• Provide technical support to clients and maintain stock control for spares and consumables.
• Attend offshore training, undergo medical clearance and support mobilisations and site interface testing.

Required profile

• Graduate qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in subsea and offshore environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Experience with ROV tooling, maintenance and testing.
