Junior Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

As a Junior Software Engineer at AccessPay you will join a small, agile team building a cloud‑based SaaS platform that connects corporates with their banks. Working remotely with occasional office days, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design through testing and deployment, delivering robust and scalable payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve product software under guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with the product team to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Optimise applications for maintainability, stability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.
• Work with senior engineers to plan technical approaches and solution delivery.

Required profile

• Demonstrated competence in C# .NET development.
• Experience building or integrating web‑based APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of data formats like XML and JSON.
• Familiarity with version‑control systems (e.g., Git).
