Junior Sous Chef / Chef de Partie (Closed over Xmas & New Year)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef / Chef de Partie to join our award‑winning independent restaurant group in North London. The role will focus on delivering modern Middle Eastern cuisine and will be available after the restaurant reopens following the Christmas and New Year closure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in leading the kitchen brigade.
• Prepare and plate a variety of Middle Eastern dishes to the restaurant’s high standards.
• Manage your station, ensuring timely service and consistency.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement of culinary techniques.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a high‑volume kitchen.
• Strong interest in modern Middle Eastern cuisine and willingness to develop further.
• Ability to work a 4‑days‑on, 3‑days‑off schedule, starting shifts at 9:00‑9:30 am.
• Commitment to the restaurant’s reopening after the holiday closure.
