Key Account Manager – Automotive Components

About the role

The position is a home‑based Key Account Manager role within a leading automotive components manufacturer. You will act as the primary contact for major OEM and tier‑1 supplier accounts across England, driving revenue growth and strengthening long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop a portfolio of strategic automotive accounts, delivering profitable growth.
• Create and execute account plans, identifying upsell and new‑business opportunities.
• Manage pricing, contract negotiation, margin control and order fulfilment.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, quality and finance teams to meet customer specifications.
• Conduct regular client visits across England, building trusted relationships.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform product development.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates and performance reports to senior leadership.
• Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Proven B2B key account management experience in automotive components or related manufacturing.
• Demonstrated success managing relationships with major OEMs and tier‑1 suppliers in the UK.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing strategy, contract negotiation and margin management.
• Ability to travel regularly across England for client meetings.
