Key Account Manager – Creative Product Business

About the role

We are an award‑winning creative products business seeking a driven Key Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of key trade accounts. You will act as the primary liaison between our company and leading retailers, ensuring product excellence and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely, tailored communication to customers, addressing their specific needs.
• Develop comprehensive product knowledge to respond quickly to inquiries.
• Ensure products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards by coordinating with internal Quality Assurance.
• Monitor each order from inception to delivery and invoicing, clarifying responsibilities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Sales Coordinators to complete customer‑specific documentation accurately.
• Provide precise quotations and maintain accurate order documentation.
• Organise daily tasks to meet customer needs and address urgent queries.
• Manage internal and external deadlines using available software tools.
• Align customer strategy, share key dates, and ensure product samples meet company standards before dispatch.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B account management, preferably with leading retailers.
• Background in private‑label or made‑to‑order consumer product ranges is a plus.
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding B2B service.
• Natural problem‑solver, quick learner, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and conflicting priorities.
• Proactive, logical thinker and effective team player.

Required skills

• Strong project‑management capabilities.
• Proficiency with standard office software and internal CRM tools.
