Key Account Manager

About the role

The Japanese food manufacturer is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its Enfield office. You will be responsible for growing major UK grocery retail accounts and delivering profitable revenue growth while championing the brand’s Japanese cuisine.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand relationships with key UK grocery retailers.
• Lead Joint Business Plans to meet revenue, margin, distribution and rate‑of‑sale targets.
• Drive range expansion, new product sell‑in and promotional activity.
• Use data to identify issues, opportunities and inform commercial decisions.
• Act as the commercial voice of the customer within the organisation.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing UK grocery multiples or equivalent key‑account experience.
• Proven commercial and negotiation skills with a track record of profitable growth.
• Passion for food and interest in Japanese cuisine.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently with incomplete information.
• Comfortable with Japanese corporate culture, respectful, detail‑oriented and collaborative.
• Business‑level fluency in English; knowledge of Japanese language or culture is a plus.
