Key Stage 1 Teacher – Year 2 (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 teacher to lead a Year 2 class in a vibrant one‑form entry primary school in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The position starts on a fixed‑term basis for the 2026/27 academic year, with the prospect of becoming permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the Key Stage 1 curriculum for Year 2 pupils.
• Collaborate weekly with the Year 1 teaching partner to share best practice and coordinate cross‑year activities.
• Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to the school’s CPD programme.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.
• Follow safeguarding policies and ensure an enhanced DBS check is kept up to date.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Successful completion of Early Career Teacher (ECT) Year 1 and Year 2.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and student welfare.
