Key Stage 2 Primary Supply Teacher

About the role
Are you a committed and determined person seeking the chance to begin or pursue a career as a Key Stage 2 Teacher? Academics, an education agency, is seeking a qualified applicant to work as a supply teacher for several of our esteemed Birmingham schools. The position starts in September 2026, offering daily work with the potential to become long‑term, ideal for those wanting flexibility now and the possibility of a longer commitment later.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils.
- Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum.
- Adapt teaching and lesson plans for children with SEND.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
- Monitor and assess pupils’ development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service).
- Willingness to undertake relevant training as needed.
