Key Stage 2 Teacher – Primary (Brighton)

About the role

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher to join a vibrant primary school in the Brighton/Lancing area. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to shape young learners’ academic journeys and contribute to a supportive, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet KS2 curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and tailor support to help every pupil achieve their potential.
• Maintain a positive, stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages enthusiasm for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community on student welfare and school initiatives.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching KS2 or a similar primary level.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
