Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – Year 6 SATs Support

About the role

Join a dynamic primary school environment supporting Year 6 pupils as they prepare for Key Stage 2 SATs. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver focused English and Maths interventions, helping children build confidence and close learning gaps.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for Year 6 pupils in English and Maths.
• Deliver structured booster sessions aimed at SATs preparation.
• Reinforce key curriculum objectives and monitor pupil progress.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting, preferably Key Stage 2.
• Strong command of English and Maths and confidence in assisting SATs preparation.
• Proven ability to run small‑group interventions that raise attainment.
• Patient, proactive, and able to build motivating relationships with pupils.
• Team‑oriented with a commitment to every child’s success.
