Kitchen and Bathroom Fitter

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen and Bathroom Fitter to join a large social housing provider on a permanent, full‑time basis in Gloucester. You will work on occupied and void properties, delivering high‑quality installations and refurbishments while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install and refurbish kitchens and bathrooms in domestic and social housing properties.
• Carry out multi‑trade repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, flooring and decorating.
• Deliver planned maintenance works to agreed timescales and standards.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Liaise with residents, providing clear communication and a positive experience.
• Diagnose repairs and identify effective solutions.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment safely.
• Order and manage materials to ensure efficient project completion.

Required profile

• Recent experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms in domestic or social housing.
• Proven multi‑trade experience, especially in carpentry and plumbing.
• Experience delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment or property improvement works.
• Ability to work independently in occupied residential properties and interact professionally with customers.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
