About the role
Join Hallmark Luxury Care Homes as a Kitchen Assistant and help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Working closely with our chefs, you will support the preparation and service of high‑quality meals in a caring, family‑run environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
- Support stock management, receiving deliveries and organising supplies.
- Help ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the care team to meet residents' dietary needs.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn, even without prior kitchen experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable and able to work flexible hours.
- Adaptable, approachable and able to interact positively with colleagues and residents.
- Team‑oriented with a genuine desire to contribute to a supportive environment.
