About the role

As a Kitchen Assistant at Dobbies, you will support the restaurant team in delivering high‑quality meals and a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring food is prepared safely, presented beautifully, and served on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present food according to menu specifications.
• Assist with general kitchen duties, including cleaning, stock rotation, and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Maintain strict food hygiene standards and adhere to health & safety procedures.
• Develop knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens, and nutritional information.

• Team‑player with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop new culinary skills.
