About the role

Join the bustling kitchen team at Gourmet Burger Kitchen as a Kitchen Porter. You will play a vital part in keeping the back‑of‑house environment clean, organised and ready for fast‑paced service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a spotless kitchen by cleaning equipment, utensils and work areas.
• Support chefs by providing clean tools and an organised workspace.
• Operate the dishwashing station, ensuring plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment are ready for use.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, organising stock and keeping supplies readily available.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling efficiently to uphold hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Reliable team player who is punctual and enjoys collaborative work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Physical stamina to stand, move and handle kitchen equipment throughout the shift.
