Kitchen Sales Designer

About the role

Our client is seeking a talented, motivated and creative Kitchen Sales Designer to join their team in Billericay, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced kitchen designer or sales professional with a genuine passion for delivering high‑quality kitchens and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and consult with customers to understand their lifestyle, requirements, tastes and budget.
• Create bespoke kitchen designs, plans, layouts and presentations tailored to each client.
• Take accurate measurements, assess spaces and recommend suitable kitchens, worktops, appliances and accessories.
• Manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to order completion and follow‑up.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate confidently and achieve individual sales and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with suppliers, installers and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.

Required profile

• Previous experience in kitchen design, kitchen sales, interiors or a similar design‑led sales environment.
• Strong eye for detail, high‑quality design standards and a consultative selling approach.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Commercially focused mindset, self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with kitchen design software.
• Experience using quotation software for pricing and proposals.
