Kitchen Team Leader – London

About the role

Join Stonegate Group's vibrant Social Pub and Kitchen in the heart of the City of London as a Kitchen Team Leader. You will support the Kitchen Manager, mentor staff and ensure high‑quality dishes are served to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate closely with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high‑quality dishes consistently to specification.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the Kitchen Manager’s absence.
• Manage stock, ordering and supplies to keep the kitchen well‑stocked.
• Maintain an excellent, clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.

Required profile

• Experience as a Kitchen Team Leader or a senior Kitchen Team Member ready to step up.
• Ability to support, coach and mentor kitchen staff.
• High standard of food knowledge and culinary skill.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
• Willingness to develop personally while helping the brigade progress.
