Kitchen Team Member

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our hotel kitchen at Ibis London Luton Airport. You will support daily kitchen operations, preparing breakfast and dinner items while ensuring a clean and safe environment for both guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items or dinner menu items according to company standards and recipes.
• Set up, monitor, and replenish the breakfast buffet, keeping food fresh, well‑presented, and fully stocked.
• Prepare and serve simple meals for the restaurant.
• Clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene throughout the kitchen and food service areas.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries using FIFO practices and assist with stock rotation.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or stock issues to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen role is preferable.
• Friendly, approachable, with excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible availability for early morning and late shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both morning and night shifts.
• Basic IT skills.
