Kitchen Team Member

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Kitchen Team Member to join our bakery in Godalming. You will work early shifts preparing freshly baked breads, cakes and pastries for our customers, ensuring every product meets our high quality and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a range of breads, cakes, pastries and other bakery items.
• Maintain clean and organised workstations and adhere to food‑safety procedures.
• Stock and present bakery displays with attractive, freshly produced goods.
• Follow recipes accurately and monitor baking times and temperatures.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet daily production targets.

Required profile

• Passion for fresh, quality food and a positive, adaptable attitude.
• Team‑oriented and willing to support colleagues.
• Reliable, punctual and able to start early (around 5:30‑6:30 am).
• Capable of working at a fast pace while maintaining standards.

Required skills

• Baking and pastry preparation.
• Food safety compliance.
• Operating bakery equipment (ovens, mixers, proofing cabinets).
