Knowledge Lawyer – Corporate

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Lawyer to join a leading international law firm’s corporate team in Birmingham. The role blends deep corporate M&A expertise with a passion for knowledge management and legal innovation, supporting the team’s efficiency and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain practical guidance and precedent documents for the corporate team.
• Create, update and circulate legal updates, client briefings and alerts on regulatory changes.
• Design and deliver training sessions covering technical updates, transactional skills and market trends.
• Provide research assistance on complex legal queries.
• Monitor legislation, case law and regulatory guidance, and identify upcoming changes.
• Explore and implement new technologies, including AI tools, to streamline processes and enhance legal research.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with corporate transactional experience, preferably M&A focused, based in Birmingham.
• Strong technical grounding and a desire to develop others.
• Organised, self‑motivated and able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively.
• Passionate about innovation and the application of technology in legal services.
