KS1 Class Teacher (Fixed‑Term, 1 year)

About the role

This is a one‑year fixed‑term position covering maternity leave for a KS1 class in Greenwich, London. Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
• Carry out all professional duties of a teacher, including assessment and reporting.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
• Report progress and attainment to parents regularly.
• Support initiatives set by senior leadership and staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching KS1 or KS2, or in a comparable primary role.
• Strong subject and curriculum knowledge relevant to KS1.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.
