About the role

We are seeking a passionate KS1 Class Teacher to join our thriving primary school in St. Albans starting September 2026. The successful candidate will inspire young learners, deliver high‑quality lessons and contribute to a culture of innovation and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Key Stage 1 pupils.
• Foster confidence, resilience and a love of learning in each child.
• Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold high expectations.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, families and support staff.
• Reflect on practice and pursue continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for primary education and a commitment to safeguarding.
• Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for pupils.
• Ability to commute to St. Albans.
• Reflective, eager to develop professionally and work collaboratively.
