KS1 Primary Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Liverpool

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join schools in North Liverpool. The role starts in September and offers both short‑term and long‑term cover across Key Stage 1 and 2, providing a supportive environment to develop classroom practice.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging KS1 lessons.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere.
• Provide constructive feedback on student work.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
• Two references from the last five years, including one child‑based safeguarding reference.

Required skills

• Knowledge of KS1 curriculum content and assessment methods.
