About the role
Reed Education is partnering with a school group in Medway and Mid Kent to recruit enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) primary teachers. The positions are flexible, covering day‑to‑day supply, short‑term placements, and longer‑term assignments across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons that build strong early foundations.
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support pupil development.
Required profile
- Qualified primary teacher with experience teaching KS1.
- Passionate about early years education and fostering a love of learning.
- Reliable, flexible and able to adapt to varying placement lengths.
Required skills
- Curriculum planning for Key Stage 1.
- Classroom management and behaviour support.
- Effective communication with pupils, staff and parents.
