About the role
Primary schools across Whitstable are seeking enthusiastic KS1 Supply Teachers to provide high‑quality classroom cover on a short‑term basis. The role is ideal for early‑career teachers and experienced educators who value flexibility while making a positive impact on young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver well‑prepared lessons for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment and support pupil progress.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and follow clear expectations for cover work.
- Manage classroom behaviour and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – candidates without QTS are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with pupils and colleagues.
