About the role
We are seeking a dynamic KS1 (Key Stage 1) teacher to join schools in Brighton & Hove through HAYS Education. The role offers flexible working patterns – from a single day a week up to full‑time – allowing you to balance professional development with personal commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
- Adapt teaching resources to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Collaborate with senior staff to support whole‑school improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and parent‑teacher communications.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience working in a primary school setting.
- Enthusiasm for creating a stimulating learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated school team.
