KS1 Teacher – Flexible Part‑time/Full‑time in Horsham

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic KS1 (Key Stage 1) teachers to support primary schools in the Horsham area. The role is highly flexible, allowing you to work between one and five days a week, making it ideal for teachers who want to supplement their current timetable or take on a full‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum for KS1 pupils.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse abilities and needs of each student.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning.
• Assess student progress, record outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members and contribute to the wider school community.
• Utilise a range of teaching resources and classroom technologies to enhance learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience working in primary education.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching style to meet student needs.
• Passion for educating young children.
