About the role
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic KS1 Teachers to join a variety of welcoming primary schools in Folkestone. The role can be a long‑term placement starting in September or day‑to‑day supply work, offering flexibility and varied classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons for Key Stage 1 pupils.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Follow each school’s policies and curriculum expectations.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom settings for supply assignments.
- Monitor and support pupil progress where required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching within KS1.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Flexible, reliable and adaptable approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
