KS1 Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a qualified KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Grays, Essex, starting 1 September 2026. This full‑time, temporary supply position runs until July 2027 and offers the chance to support young learners in a vibrant community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons across the curriculum.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Support pupils with special educational needs, adapting resources as required.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage challenging behaviour.
• Collaborate with senior staff and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Demonstrable experience working with SEN pupils.
• Ability to manage a classroom and handle challenging behaviour.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references related to child work.
