About the role
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher you will deliver engaging and creative lessons that support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. You will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum, encouraging every child to reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupils' progress and attainment.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Support pupils' personal, social and emotional development.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives while upholding safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (early career teachers are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering creative and engaging learning experiences.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching, pupil achievement and safeguarding.
