KS1 Year 1 Primary Teacher – Full‑Time (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic KS1 Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool from September 2026. The role is full‑time for the first term, with the possibility of extension, and is open to both Early Career Teachers and fully qualified teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 1 curriculum.
• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the wider school community.
• Support extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Passion for primary education and supporting young learners.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality teaching and learning.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
