KS2 Class Teacher

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a KS2 Class Teacher for an Ofsted "Outstanding" primary school in West London. The role involves delivering the full KS2 curriculum, planning lessons, assessing progress and engaging with parents throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS2 lessons across all subjects.
• Mark student work, record progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate student achievement.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and collaborative planning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of KS2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the past two years.
