About the role
Academics is looking for an adaptable and inspirational KS2 Interventions Teacher to join a primary school in Rainham, Kent. The role starts in January 2027 and involves working with smaller groups of pupils to support their progress in key subjects.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver targeted intervention lessons for KS2 pupils.
- Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with class teachers and senior staff to align interventions with the wider curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and report outcomes.
- Provide a safe, engaging and well‑managed learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching KS2.
- Passionate about working with small groups and delivering focused support.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to motivate learners.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
