KS2 PPA Teacher (Years 3-6) – Temporary Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 PPA Teacher to join a friendly, ambitious primary school in Ashton‑under‑Lyne. The role is ideal for an experienced teacher or newly qualified teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons across Years 3‑6 during teachers’ PPA time, without the responsibility of full class planning.

Key responsibilities

• Teach across Years 3‑6 using existing lesson plans during allocated PPA time.
• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Maintain excellent behaviour management and classroom routines.
• Provide clear feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and attainment.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Strong behaviour management skills and high expectations of learning.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Flexible, proactive approach.
