About the role

We are seeking a passionate KS2 Primary Teacher to join a friendly two‑form primary school in Barking, London. The role starts in September 2026 and involves teaching Year 3 to Year 6 classes, with full‑time and part‑time options available.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS2 curriculum across Years 3‑6.
• Assess pupil progress and provide targeted support.
• Collaborate with colleagues on whole‑school planning and CPD activities.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Participate in PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) time and contribute to school initiatives.

Required profile

• UK‑approved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience or knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo DBS check.

• Curriculum planning for Key Stage 2.
• Effective classroom management.
• Assessment and data‑driven reporting.
