About the role
Prospero Teaching is partnering with a forward‑thinking primary school in Swindon to recruit a Key Stage 2 teacher for a September 2026 start. The position is full‑time on a temporary basis and is ideal for a passionate educator eager to raise attainment and deliver engaging lessons to pupils in the later years of primary education.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
- Assess, monitor and support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leaders to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain effective classroom behaviour management and organisation.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Early‑Career Teachers are encouraged to apply).
- Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Required skills

- Placement on the Main Teacher Pay Scale (MPS) with daily rates between £168 and £275.
